Beautiful Rage
By: KatherineKillJoy
Something has changed. I have changed. I can feel it in my heart. I can feel. Then I realized it wasn't me, it was you. You're the beautiful monster that's crawling under my skin.
There's something about you, there's something about you that brings life to my non-existing heart. I'm not supposed to feel. I'm not supposed to love. There's something about you that makes my blood pulse uncontrollably through my veins. There's something about your perfect smile. There's something about you, something that can drive a dead heart - wild.

...This poem connects with my first quotation thats by William S. Burroughs. Rage is being depicted as something beautiful, powerful and dangerous. William and Katherine both see the beauty in rage, not just the intimidating factors but the beauty in the power, the feriocity and the fascintation in the one that is enraged. "A cat's rage is beautiful, burning with pure cat flame, all its hair standing up and crackling blue sparks, eyes blazing and sputtering." -William S. Burroughs. His quotation is a clear representation of the admiration he has for his cat when it is enraged or maybe even just cats in general when they are enraged. Katherine has a slighty different perspective. She finds the 'monster' under her skin is a wonderful thing. Adventurous, dangerous and mysterious. She depicts this 'monster' as beautifully sly, she adores it...
